ELLINT’s members has created a brief guide to national laws relating to the rights of employers to restrict competitive activities by employees after the termination of their employment. Such post-termination restrictions can include: non-competes (which prevent the employee taking up a competitive job); non-solicitation of clients (preventing clients from being approached or dealt with); and non-solicitation of employees (preventing the employer’s staff from being hired by the former employee).
